Smith at the University of Maryland and the Wilmer Eye Institute. In the summer, heís been known to slip away to his cottage on Lake Charlevoix in Michigan to pursue his passion for fly fishing and golf.
Mr. Balderson is pictured above examining the “Bloodgood” Japanese Maple he received as a seedling presented by Rosalynn Carter in the Rose Garden at the White House in 1979. This was the award DFB received from the American Association of Nurserymen for the Martin Marietta Corporate Headquarters, Bethesda, MD. He has nurtured this tree for 38 years as seen here at his farm in Laytonsville, Md.   Download Andrew's Resume
